Successful takeovers are completed purchases of temporary advertising placement on BUY EARTH. A later outbid does not create an automatic refund; the previous owner received placement until the later qualifying purchase. If simultaneous purchases compete for the same placement and a completed payment cannot receive that placement, the losing payment is refunded through its original payment provider when the payment provider confirms the refund.
