You do not purchase real land, property rights, governmental affiliation, or legal ownership of any geographic territory. A location remains assigned to an advertiser only until a qualifying higher purchase replaces it. Payments are completed purchases, not escrowed bids. Previous owners are not automatically refunded when outbid. Map boundaries and names are shown for visualization purposes and do not imply political endorsement.
